My husband and I went to Crete for our honeymoon. We rented a car and scoured the whole damn island for pleasure, many times in the form of food. That was a few years ago now. So, as you can imagine, I was PUMPED when the couple hosting our gourmet club dinner this month chose Greece as their theme. Yep, you heard right. Gourmet Club. There are people as crazy as me about food, so we decided to get together and make a club of it. The way our club works, one couple hosts and chooses a theme. Everyone brings a course based on the theme. I usually choose the dessert course. In an effort to make something “gourmet” worthy I thought I’d taste test a few ideas.
